edging plywood

I have run into this problem several times and I was wondering if there's a jig that I can make that can help me. In the process of building a ramp, whether it be a wheelchair ramp or a ramp to drive my lawnmower onto. When it comes to tapering the edge of the plywood to the floor/ground @ an sharper angle than 45 degrees, what can I do to cut this edge?:confused:

George, you can use a circular saw tilted to 45 and a wedge double stick taped to the bed

I've used an electric hand plan. Carbide blades hold up a lot better.

Kill 2 birds with one stone. Do the beveling on a piece of hardwood then glue that on. Easier than cutting the plywood at a sharp angle plus you get the ply edge covered.

We have snow, ice and rain here, so I used treated 1 by 6 slats crossways with a 1/2 inch between them and on the end I used a piece of painted and sanded steel deckplate with holes to screw it to the end board for the tapered end.
