I made a prototype Barrister Bookcase from salvaged lumber, and then gave it to Ma to put on top of an Armoire she uses for yarn storage so she would have a dust free place to keep her Sewing, Knitting and Crocheting books.

From a guy who loves to hear stories about salvaging lumber, I tip my hat to you !! I can't bring myself to throw away the tiny-est little piece of cut-off so hearing that you made this from salvaged lumber, my kudos go out to you. What more can you ask for, salvaging lumber and gaining brownie points in the process. Well done.

Sorry, Harry...

The mitred frames just do not do it for me in barrister bookcases. Just not the traditional look I'm used to. Cudo's for trying to change it, though..!

I'm glad the Missus liked it..!
