Had this piece of mullberry in the shop for some time now had some cracks in it was going to throw it out . thought I would try a winged bowl . Had to do some CA on a long crack but it worked out. it was fun to turn got to watch where your fingers and hands are at all the time .

Wow - beautiful work Joseph! Very thin - and I really like how you managed to keep all the bark! Really nice piece!

Joseph, that is really nice...if that is the first winged bowl that you have turned, you sure cant tell...it looks like you have done this forever

A piece of the bark on the edge came off the part that is on the stand, I heard it hit some where in the shop but no idea where it went . I have had some luck gluing it back on but couldnt find it .
Thanks for all our input, I though the wood color was great, turned a bit of mullberry and never got that variety of color, it did not show up in the picture well .

Nice work! All the mulberry pieces that I've turned have had the bark fall off before ever getting to the lathe.

I like that bowl a lot, even though it looks like it might have been scarey on the wings / propellers flyin about!

Super job, looks fantastic. The bowl meets up nicely through the wings. Wood is wonderful A+

The bowl is 4 1/2" wide and 2"tall the wing 10"x5 1/2" & 1/8 " thick
