Good Morning,

Flying up to Rhode Island and then on to Tanglewood for a Boston Pops Concert. Any stores near Tanglewood, that I should not miss?

If you can get to Great Barrington (15-20 mins from Lenox, pleasant drive, try the Red Lion in Stockbridge on the way), you should give Harland B. Foster a visit on Bridge St. Nice guys. It's of kind of an old fashioned ironmongers, Bob has a fair selection of tools, planes, chisels and gouges, all kinds of good and less seen stuff, new and used. Great Barrington isn't a bad little town either, restaurants, shops, cinema, theatre, nice main street. Definitely give Fosters a try. Turn left at the light at the end of Main St by the little Subway shop, (Fosters will be on your left) then left into the car park. For a beer, 20 Railroad Street on, oddly enough, Railroad St. For a martini, Pearls at the top of Railroad street etc etc for that 'after purchase shock' treatment.....:-)

Closes about 5, 4 ish on Saturday closed on Sunday
