The goats are out and I am glad they protect our property . They eat the weeds and reduce the potential for fire. You can see my workshop in the backround. It is even hard to get insurance after the fire of '93...My house looks like the Ponderosa...how does Singerosa sound. I will go find "Horse Cartwright"...:D

Hi Mark:

That is a boat load of goats. Looks like they do a very good job at keeping combustibles down to a minimum.

I haven't seen that many goats since the Freshman mixer....

Must be interesting during mating season....

Now thats a herd of goats. Several years ago we had 6. We milked them and used the milk to raise day old calves that we got from the feedlots out in kansas. The feedlots didn't want to mess with calves so we purchased them for a dollar each. That milk sure raised some fine looking calves.
I have considered getting some for cleanup on our property here, but do not have woven wire for fencing, just barb wire. Probably would have a problem keeping them in.
Those males sure are stinky when mating season is on. Woooww.
