Being in Broward County, at this time it appears we are in pretty good shape. The worst part of the storm, which has weakened, will pass north of us. I hope those friends and neighbors to our north come through safe and sound.
Now for the good news. Since I had to board up, and live in a concrete block house, I needed a hammer drill. WELL I DID! Anyway I bought a Ridgid, which under other circumstances would not have even made the final cut. Availability was very limited. I've driven dozens of 1/4" tapcons into the walls and was pleasantly surprised. I know that is a small hole, but this thing is OK. I had a Hilti many years ago and that was a real drill! But for any of you in a pinch, this drill is worth a look. I don't think someone looking to use it day in and day out should consider it, but for the occasional need this will fill the bill
