We are experiencing severe weather in our area. Power outages and loss of Internet are happening throughout our area. The situation is expected to continue all evening. Should our server go off-line we will do our best to get back up online ASAP.

Just seen the weather channel....hope everything is OK over there

We fared well during the storms last night. A lot of wind and water, small tree limbs down everywhere but no serious damage. We are expecting rain every day this week which will no doubt weaken the tree roots and put the trees at risk should we receive any winds. Boots are required to walk in the yard this morning.

If you have visited Virginia you know that there are trees everywhere and when they topple over they take the power lines with them. It is common for hurricanes and Nor-Easters to cause us to lose power for one to two weeks at a time so a home generator is a must have appliance here. We just purchased a Miller Bobcat 250 welding machine that has a 11,000 watt generator built-in, plenty of power to keep The Creek online if we don't lose our Internet connection.

Here's hoping that the current hurricane season passes us by without incident, such is life on the East Coast :)

This is one of the mildest winters we've ever had! lol

Hope all is well there Keith. I watch the weather often.
We had a monster storm come through this part of Michigan this morning. Heavy, heavy damage, with objects thrown all over the place. Going to take days to clean up.
