A friend at the office said her husband had a band saw or scroll saw that he wanted to give away. Never one to look a tool gift horse in the mouth I stopped by today and was handed all this stuff. A Rockwell/Beaver 28115 10 inch band saw, B&D 7616-04 router, Craftsman 315.25820 OS and a McGraw Edison 4 1/2" grinder.

It's a funny thing that 28115 why would you build a saw with all that cast iron and use plastic wheels??

I don't know what to do with this stuff yet; maybe I'll post them on CL as vintage tools and see what I get.:D

Nice score Andy. The BS would make a nice backup machine for small stuff.

Andy - Don't know if you've any interest in making your own tools, but you might want to keep the bandsaw and set it up with a metal cutting blade. The metal dust will probably eventually trash the wheels, but if it was free, it beats shelling out the bucks for a true metal cutting bandsaw, and keeps the metal dust away from your regular machine.
