Is anyone familiar with the Rockwell Uniplane? It is a unique concept, but I'm wondering if it was a successful one. By that I mean good at the job of cutting wood - the fact that it is no longer available means it is obvious it wasn't successful in the market. I've seen a few for sale here and there, and I understand finding cutters for it is not easy - or cheap.
I'm just curious. Thanks for any input.

Wes,
From what I've heard they work ok, however cutters are the big problem for the used machines. I've seen machines sell for $50 - $350 just depends on if anyone wants it. They are suppose to be safer then a jointer, but that big round disk only shielded my a little lexan looks scary to me.

John,
Thanks for the info. I guess these things are like hens teeth. Hard to find, and when you do - don't know what to do with them.
