Nice set of tools! I really like you collect...er...inventory of bow saws. What is that cutlass-looking curved saw on the left of the picture above the bow saws?

Looks like a floor saw. The rounded edge lets you start a cut in the middle of a floor to replace a board or whatever else you desire. Nice bit of kit!

Yes,it is an old floor saw.

Yes, its an E C Atkins & Co. floor saw, you start sawing on one of the long sides of the cut out and when the saw just goes thru the bottom, you use the end which has teeth on the top side also to make a kerf large enough to use a regular saw or nail saw to finish the cut.

BTW, the Bow Turning Saw just below it is a Disston, I got the Dark bolster end and a piece of the blade at a flea mkt and luckily it has the Disston name on it, I made the rest of it the stretcher and the other bolster from some birch a friend gave me.
