For many years, I operated a jewelry store and did engraving. When the traffic disappeared, I closed the store but I kept the equipment. A local store with a large frame-making department wants me to provide engraved plates for the pictures.

It has been a while since I had to purchase materials. What companies are good for brass and aluminum plates these days. Thirty years ago, I dealt with hermes. I don't recall who I used after they shifted their emphasis to plastics. I'd like to find a source with glossy and satin brass, possibly in a couple of shades, and glossy and hazy aluminum.

Your recommendations?

Thanks,
Francis
