Do I need a map? Have you moved? How will I recognize your house? Is it still yellow?

We're sure lookin' forward to the trip and getting to meet everyone. Looks like we're going to camp out at the lake a few miles away.

Is there a schedule of shop events we should know about or is it just "as we gather"?

Kelly,

It's a pretty laid back schedule............

Friday: Come by anytime. Very informal. Supper will be provided.

Saturday: Breakfast at Susan's Rest. around 7 a.m., back here by 8 or so. Demo's drawings and such after eating way too much lunch. Stay as long as you want.

Sunday: No set schedule. Just come by whenever and hang out until whenever.

My kinda schedule!! :D

Scott Coffelt
09-02-2004, 10:48 AM
I donno Terry, that schedule might be a little too laid back for them Californias, theysa always haven to go somewhere really fast... ya been there, they ain't gota lick of a laid back in um. Let's put in their terms.

Friday leave at 4am to beat the rush hour, wait in traffic for 4 hours (only a 15 minute drive in the midwest), cause all the other folks left to beat the rush hour traffic. Dinner is in the evening, so we better leave 4 hours before we have to be there to beat that rush again. Get their late, cause some fool decided it was time to drive a white bronco around the highways, so the police shut down the entrances...... :D

Yu'all can fill in the rest. :p

Chris,

You can eat all you like. Terry says he can cook fer an army. Shoot, I reck'n he can since he has cooked fer Payton fer a bunch a years.

And BTW......that's pretty NICE-uh-You of be BMW'ing. 'round these parts, BMW means that you is Brangin' More Wood.!! :D Mighty nice gesture indeed. Or is it that in Californie, the BMW stands der Big Massive Waiste? Is you that big so you won't fit on duh plane? :p :p :D :p

Scott, I grew up in the KC area and I happen to know that you folks ain't got much room to talk when it comes to traffic. The Grandview Triangle or any part of I-435 or I-70 at rush hour is pretty bad.

David Rose
09-03-2004, 1:36 AM
Did you guys hear that? Chris said "yall". He's tryin' really hard. But I think I do remember him saying he wanted to be disqualified for the prizes or something like that.

Terry, you better send a map each day to Greg. The router is what the "tug of war" is going to be over, right?

I'm still working on my buddy to change his wedding date so I can make it. Unfortunately his bride-to-be won't bend even a little. Geez it's amazing how inflexible some people can be:>) I mean after all it's only a one time deal, not like it has to be scheduled for continuing performances.

Oh well, hope to see some of you here in Oct. Wow, that is next month already. time sure flies. Steve

Hey cool on the Beaver lake camping. It is a nice lake area. It has been years since I have actually been to it. Last time was a family reunion with my family.

If memory serves me right. Our moderator sold a very nice Jet mini lathe at the BarBQ last year, which made me think that others should bring nice stuff to sell that they have outgrown or upgraded from. Things like maybe a NOVA lathe chuck, or turning tools, or WOOD or any kind of other stuff that woodworkers might be interested in buying. I am always looking for a good deal, and this new turning hobby I am trying out is EXPENSIVE.
