Well, after a couple months MIA, the camera cable have been found. So now I can properly gloat! :)
Here's the DP I picked up a short while back. It's a Buffalo No. 16 with a full 6" of quill travel. Also, it has a sliding quill/head assembly. The last picture shows it slid down, and you can see the chain that holds a counterweight located in the column. It came with a Dayton 2 HP motor too!
And better yet, all these features add up to a machine perfectly suited for boring out the centers if deep hollow vessels!

P.S. The shop is a complete mess cuz I have been installing ceiling joists and lighting, which is finally finished!
