Funny this subject should come up, I was just pondering it. Here it is abnormally cool. We've had no days over 100, and none forcasted. That is really odd for this area. Personally not complaining at all, but the loss of heat units does slow crop maturity, which makes us farmers hope for a late frost. I really wonder why I do this for a living sometimes.

Still waiting for summer to arrive in this area also! Western part of the Upper Peninsula has been getting down in the 30s at night already! Anyone wishing to cool off should drive through the U.P. on their way to New Hampshire!

Gee Max, I'm in south Georgia. Why on earth would I want to visit Texas? LOL . . .actually it's bearable here today, currently 85, heat index of 92, 69% humidity.

Got down into the high 30s last night here in Central Michigan. Frost warning in the Upper Peninsula.
When the temp gets near 80* it is time for the air conditioner but the humidity makes the temp a lot less acceptable.

Weird weather in Southern Indiana also. Lots of rain, almost 2 inches last week and this weekend lows in the mid 50's. Saving $ on the A/C, so cant be all bad.
