I just picked up a new 110/220 motor with 5 wires marked 1 thru 5. Based on the info in the picture can someone give me some help in the correct wiring? Am I correct in assuming the run capacitor is internal.

Which voltage do you wish to use?
The run capacitor can be internal or external, you'll have to determine that.

I plan on running it on 220.

Hi, just like the nameplate shows
- Line 1 goes to the overload device, with #2 not connected to anything. (If it's a wire, put a marrette on the end of it).
- Line 2 goes to wire #2, and the run cap wire if seperate. (Put a marrette on these three or two wires)
- wires #1 and #4 get connected together together with a marrette. They don't get connected to anything else.
Regards, Rod.
