One more Honey Locust plate

This one you could call a shallow bowl or a plate, this is honey locust and I tried to get the grain as symmetrical as I could. It measures 11" by 1-1/2" by 1/4", again finished with antique oil and buffed.

All I can say is WOW, spectacular grain and wonderful job of showing it off. I really feel bad that all I have around here is poplar,birch,pine and black ash.

Under any other circumstance, I would probably not like this form, but the GRAIN has kept me looking for a while now... The grain combined with the form WORKS!
