I got on a kick to make some Tru Stone shaving brushes, they just kept popping off my lathe :D Here is a picture of some. (yes there are more) Made from various Tru Stone with Finest badger hair and Super Badger hair knots. Thanks for looking.

Wow, those are really nice! Where do you get the brush kits from and how are they affixed?

Hi Joe, Here is a tutorial on how I make them,

but basically, turn them like a bottle stopper. I use 5 to 20 minute epoxy to set the knots, depending on how many I am going to set.

Joe, here is one source. I'm sure there are others, this is the only one I know of.

Great looking brushes. Have been thinking about doing one for my uncle. Guess Christmas is coming.

You can buy the knots from Anthony's web site, also Mach III shaving heads.

I found this not only a satisfying project but a rather unique one too. The hair knots Anthony sells are really very nice and reasonably priced. This would make a great Christmas present for any one who enjoys a good traditional shave.
