I'm looking for a recommendation for a sharpening service in San Diego (1st choice) or someone on the west coast that I could ship to(2nd choice). My Forrest table saw blade is due and I don't want just use the "google / yellow pages". Recommendations appreciated!
Thanks,
Steve

On the left side of the country, Scott Whitting (sp?) and on the right side, Dynamic Saw. Scott is in AZ, and Dynamic is in Buffalo NY. Both are only 2-3 day Priority Mail Box away from you. No matter which you choose, USPS will have your blade there in 2-3 days. Unfortunately the same can't be said about UPS / Fed Ex on the return trip.

Steve, I'm in Spring Valley and take my blades to La Mesa Lumber, not sure who they send them out to, but pretty quick turnaround time. http://www.lamesalumber.com/

I've used these folks in Los Angeles. www.andersonsaw.com

They are just south of LAX airport. They have a drop-off and pickup service at tool and machinery dealers around the county, so they might have something local for you. I know they go as far south as Orange County.

Thanks for all the recommendations guys. Since D&D is right in my "backyard", I'll give em a try.

Steve, please let us know how they do. Other members, including my dad, are down your way.

I live on the left coast and had Ridge Carbide sharpen my saw blades -they also redrilled the arbor holes and furnished bushings for my blades to accomodate two size TS arbors. Very pleased with their service; however, they are located in N.J. I believe.
