Howdy everyone
I am done working for the day up in the shop, so I am fooling around trying to make my avatar work. I might even post a pic or two of what I have been doing...

Jim,
Go to the Users control panel then ( user cp button at top) Then click on edit options then go to the bottom of the page to add an avatar. Select custom avatar & browse your puter for the picture then upload it. Pic needs to be no bigger than 50px X 50px
Hope this helps!

Your avatar is the visual "handle" or display appearance you use to represent yourself.
Or if you want the real meaning...
In the Hindu religion, an avatar is an incarnation of a deity; hence, an embodiment or manifestation of an idea or greater reality.

Well Bill I thought you meant you were fooling a round as in with spinny things. Have you made anything lately using Big Blue?

Hi Bart
Look at the dates on this thread. It is just a couple weeks shy of one year old. I have no idea how or why it got resurrected. But as to the Poolewood, I am only making more turners on it - lots of lessons lately and no turning for me.
