Howdy everyone,
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions in the earlier thread about the bead board for our main bath. I decided to go with 48". Sorry Todd. :(
I got the beadboard up and trimmed on Saturday along with changing the fixtures. Cheryl and I got everything painted on Sunday. We had the new tile laid several weeks ago and just now got around to finishing the rest.
Pardon the bad picture quality. This bathroom is WAY to small to be able to get a decent picture but here goes anyway........
The new floor tile is a gray slate looking ceramic. The walls are painted "white pepper". It's sort of a very light gray/lavender. I installed all new satin stainless fixtures, towel rods, new white switches and plug ins etc...

I decided the best way to treat the edges of the bead board was to basically picture frame around it. It worked out fine and seems to make a good transition to the tile around the tub etc...

At some prior time, this bathroom was made handicapped accessible by removing the 32" door and replacing it with a 36" door. Whoever did this was obviously drunk and blind. The wall was/is a mess. I decided on the 48" height for the beadboard specifically to cover this mess up around the door and the switches. It looks WAY better now than before.

Thanks again for the earlier suggestions and for looking at the finished product.
