This is my first project spraying a water based finish. This break-down booth is made from PVC pipes, tarps and foam insulation board. A filter was secured over the hole where the fan sits. I must say the booth works great, there's enough air flow to evacuate all the over spray. The sides can be adjusted.

This is not a good project to learn spray finishing. The first coat had plenty of runs I sanded out and getting the back/seat slats evenly coated was challenging.

I'm beginning to get a feel for the gun and it's adjustments-- but the proof will be in the next couple of coats. BTW the bench is set upon a lazy susan bearing to easily rotate the piece.

Nice job on the spray booth Bill.

There are quite a few people I know that use tarps. It doesn't take much.

That is a complex piece to learn on. Once you scuff sand out the runs you will learn for next time. The other thing not fun to spray is drawers.

Take some time to learn the gun.

I think it's a 24" fan from HD. I open the garage door as high as the top of the fan and adjust the window openings to achieve good air flow.
