Here is (what is purported to be) a copy of the original manual. Note the front page of the manual says it covers both models 103.0403 and 103.0404. Unfortunately, this manual is essentially a parts list...

Last week I was looking for a manual for an old Craftsman bandsaw. Couldn't find it directly from Sears or google. Stumbled across OwnerIQ. Posted my need And within a day a guy who's been stuck at home lately sent me a link to the manual at managemyhome.

If you ever see a presser foot or the motor mounting bracketry for that model for sale (and you don't need it) I'm still looking that stuff, then mine will be a functioning part of the shop.

Is the crank assembly there to increase tension on the blade? I can't tell from the photo, but overall that saw looks to be in pretty good shape.

I know this an old thread but I recently came across one of these with the original blue paint and badge. Does anyone have a manual. Better yet the only question I have is how the motor adjustment works. The back two bolts for the motor were not connected to the saw base. I think that they should be. If they were though changing the speed would be much more difficult. Anybody have one?

I have just acquired a 103.0404 probably all original. It has a 1/3 hp 1750 rpm Dunlop motor.
The motor bolts to a base plate that pivots on the edge nearest the saw table and allows the wheight of the motor to creat tension on the drive belt. I am looking for the 8 page manual.I have downloaded the 4 pg parts list but it is of no real use as the parts are not arranged in an exploded view but just listed with their part numbers
