Inspired by Norms bathroom cupboard I thought this style would fit right in with our newly remodeled bathroom. The fairly simple construction was hindered only by a set of "plans" from grizzly, and some birch ply I bought over a year ago from a neighbor that fell apart on me. The ply, not the neighbor. He's fine.

I didnt dare attempt to paint this myself. Without a sprayer and very little patience I just didnt think I could put the family through what would have been a month long study in foul language and paint scraping. So I did the prep and the wife arranged for one of her guys to spray it. Worked out nicely but I could have spent more time on the prep.

This was a fun project and it fits nicely in our new bath.

Looks like this one turned out great! I need to talk to your wife and see if I can contract out the finishing work on my projects:D I hate that part - reckon she can get the sanding taken care of, too?

I really like that, it has a very old school apothecary look to it. I've got a great collection of antique OTC apothecary items that would look fantastic displayed in that.... hmmmm

I like it! I especially like the hardware that you picked for it. Definitely fits the piece well. And I'm impressed with your doors. Looks like an even gap all the way around.

Is the framework made of poplar?

Nice job Dave... I like the cabinet design as I saw one very similar back in the 70's that held Hobby Lobby plates.

Nice work Dave! Our DIL was asking about a cupboard for their newly remodeled bath and this sure would fit right in! Very nice work! You should be very happy with it!

Yes, its all poplar/birch ply. I took my time fitting the doors carefully. After all that, there was some shrinkage on the top rail of the upper door that the pics dont show. The real craftsmanship is my photography ;).

Time for a moisture meter I think.

The paint job cost me a twelve pack... add sanding to the deal and you'd probably have to throw in pretzels or something :)
