Guys - I posted this in the Woodworking Projects section and decided to link to it here. Definitely not as a "look at me!, look at me!", but as a suggestion for a project that's beyond the nailed together birdhouse and bit less overwhelming than a full-blown Philadelphia Highboy for those that are starting out on the neander slippery slope.
The tools required are basic to a neander's kit - marking tools, a cross cut backsaw, a dovetail saw, a couple of chisels, a plow plane, a panel raiser (which could be the genuine article, or a combination of rabbet and bench planes) and the usual foreplane, jointer and smoother.
