He who goes forth with a fifth on the fourth may not live to go forth on the fifth.

Have a safe holiday!

That was pretty clever, Belinda, but in a lot of places I'd also suggest being careful with fireworks, lots of dry areas including (for the first time in many years) here - No rain in June or July so far!

Hello,
Happy 4th back @ you! :).

I/we had a fairly uneventful 4th of July eve yesterday.
I was in bed by 7:00pm. so 4th of July Clause could come and leave me gifts of cold beer, burgers & dogs & brats for the grill and fireworks.

I awoke this morning @ 4:00am and found to my delight that 4th of July Clause had been here! There's 10 lbs of ground beef in the fridge, 6 packs of dogs, 3 packs of Johnsonville's Beer Brats - and my mother in law says a 30 pack of Miller suddendly appeared in her fridge!
Oh, and the fireworks!! 2 big giant assortments!

I so love the 4th of July!
It's like Christmas - with explosives! :D

Wheeeeeee!!!

Oh -yeah - thanks to your home state for the ab-so-lute best onions! I have a big bag of Vadila's all set to go!
