For my 80th birthday SWMBO had a 20x20 carport erected next to my shop. (pics will be forthcoming) I started to move my forge, anvil, nd coke bin etc. out of doors and into the carport. My Stump is a real large hunk of wood and I finally gor it on the two wheeler but as I went down the two steps to the ground it got away from me. Of course, I had a masterful grip on the two wheeler so I went shooting down the step with it. It was comical, the stump, the two wheeler and yours truly sprawled on the ground. Woe for my dignity./

How many people on their 80th B'day would even attempt a job like that! I am definitely impressed! Happy 80th!

Ed,
Happy Belated B-day for starters. I pray I am still active energetic, and productive at 80 for sure! Reminds me of my late great uncle (He made it to 109), I remember as a kid watching him working his farm every time we would drive up, he'd be on the tractor...

How about doing a "blacksmithing methods write-up" from your home shop point of view? Been gathering up pieces over the past decade and hope within the next decade to have a similar set-up!
