Bevel up of course :) But I hear this model has chatter problem as well as blade not keeping lateral or depth setting :D

Looks like the "Great Neck" I bought when I was a kid. I never did have much luck with it, but then again, I didn't try it with the "floating frog" like this one.

Some folks just don't have the shape recognition skills.

I figure, though, that the whole assembly has to be balanced on the tote somehow? Wouldn't that be a clue that there's something wrong?

The guy is saying it was his dad's grandfather's plane. Was that plane available 15 years ago? All the planes that were my dad's grandfather's were made in the 1890s or early 1900s.

Of course, some families go through the generational steps quicker than others.

Alright, the seller put the frog in proper position and replaced the picture. No more floating frog :(
