Here is a scratch stock, made from scrap bubinga. The cutter is a 3/16" bead, and a flat. Made from a piece of a scrap Disston saw blade, bought for use as scraper stock for aobut $2.
Also, a pix of the molding scraped with it. The piece is a mock up of a drawer blade to carcase sliding dovetail, cut with hand tools only. This is the first sliding dovetail I have ever cut without electrics. A fun piece of joinery.
Becuase of the blockfront style of drawers, and the interior corner, this bead cannot be cut with a router or shaper, but must be scraped and carved.

Looks great! There is something rewarding about making the tool and then using it to make furniture...you already knew that!
