This is my second successful HF.
It's Maple, spalted a bit, with some crotch figure.
Finish is Wipe-on-Poly. It's about 8" tall/diameter.
I got the wall down to 3/16 and called it quits!:D

that looks very nice. i like the shape and the way the NE goes down the side

Steve - real nice work on this one! Love the dark color in this maple! Cool how the bark travels down the side of the form! 3/16" is plenty thin/thick - depending on how you look at it! Looks like you are doing quite well with your hollow forms! Keep up the good work!

Nice piece Steve. Never thought about leaving the bark on like that-will file that in the memory bank. Lots of people using wipe on poly (me included) and I like the results and the ease of application.
