View Full Version : Japanese hand saw on most modern project in the world

Just a FYI, but I was watching one of those mega engineering shows and this one was on the building of Sungdo - virtually a city from the ground up. The convention center is an engineering and construction challenge beyond belief. For a brief second they shows some workers cutting panels and forms for one of the 90,000 roof panels and the guy was using what looked like a nice Japanese hand saw. It was nice to see and for some reason I thought about all of you. Or is it unfair to say it was a Japanese saw and did the Koreans or Chinese develop similar hand tools?
