This is a piece of spalted ash a friend gave me. Measures 11 1/2 x 4. Sealcoat finish buffed with carnuba wax. Thanks for taking a look.

Mike that is a beauty. Really like the simple form. Nice wall thickness and the wood looks great.

Lovely bowl Mike! I like it very much. Lovely wood and elegant but simple lines. It really lets the wood show off.

Don't you just love spalted wood? Nice simple pleasing lines-just shows that you don't need fancy decoration to make a pleasing form.
