My Makita 6227 12v drill batteries no longer take a charge. Have any of you had good experience with having similar batteries rebuilt?

Thanks in advance.

Not Makita but I did have the batteries for my 12V Bosch. Even upgraded during rebuild. I have already received twice the service as the OEM

Hello Tom.

I have had two batteries for my DeWalt 12V drill rebuilt by Battery Builders Aka MTO (http://www.mtobattery.com/store/). They were done in a reasonable time frame, and with new cells that were more powerful than the originals from DeWalt. AND, the price is quite reasonable.

I would not hesitate to use them again.:)

I've had a pair of Makitas and a pair of DeWalts done by MTO. Great service.

What Ken and Glenn said.

I have used them also and am very satisfied.

Give Jason a call. He's very helpful.........even if you decide not to buy.

I had a 19.2 crapsman done by www.voltmanbatteries.com (http://www.voltmanbatteries.com) . It was rebuilt and returned in about 10 days, for $50 total. Since it is 19.2 it is a higher price that 18v, but 12v would but lots less. Anyway it has the same power and lasts forever, I am very happy.
