I bought the plans for these spinning wheel over 25 years ago and just now finished them. I started on them in Virginia and finished them in Florida! I made an extra one for my daughter.

Curtis, No I had given up woodworking when I retired to Florida and sold all my tools. I decided last year to air condition my 3 car garage and get back into woodworking.

Nice work, talk about vortex! How well do they work? I had actually looked for wheel plans but haven't found any useful ones. Do you remember where you bought yours?

Maria, The plans are from Craft Plans # 379. I don't know if they are still in business. They are 21" segmented Saxon spinning wheels. They do work!

Terrific job on what looks to be a very daunting project. Lots of planning and turning involved but tremendous feeling of accomplishment I bet.
Way to go!
