I was shocked at the prices being asked for 131.5" blades for my new Grizzly 17" Band saw.

I've acquired a jig for making them myself but have had some difficulty finding vendors of uncut coils of sawblade stock.

Might someone offer a few domestic (USA) suppliers?

The temptation to go to McMaster-Carr is considerable but I'm aware that the premium they charge for their lightning fast service is high.

Thanks

Where are you getting prices for the welded blades?

It was back in '07, but we paid only $20.10 for 3/4"x.025"x132" 3TPI AS from Suffolk.

A carbide re-saw (Morse) from BC Saw was $160.69 - somewhat shocking, but well worth it for us.

I haven't had the longevity with blades welded in-house that we get with those welded by pros.
