i can finally use the lathe again. the bone has reattached enough to be able to work, i still have to wear the splint for awhile, but the splint will double as a finger gaurd from the sometimes sharp chips flying off the tool. if i have time i should have a peice or three dont by tonight.:):):)

Congrats as previously advised, be careful! I broke my back 8 years ago...twice....2 weeks apart. Believe me when I say it was incredibly more painful the 2nd time and.......it takes a lot longer to heal.


PS.....I had a compression fracture. The 2nd time I was sitting when it collapsed again.
