Here are my chisels.
Apart from the Lie Nielsens there is an eclectic mix of US old iron and an Erik Anton Berg. There are Stanleys, a Witherby, Ohio Tool and a Chas Buck.
The largest of these is a 1 1/2 inch Blue Grass which holds a great edge.
This is the only Blue Grass chisel that I own and the only one I have ever seen. I really like Old tools made in the US
Yes I am a fan
Cheers

Martin,

You have a great collection of old tools there that look to be in excellent shape. I too have a collection of old iron in both firmer and bevel edges, and the old tools certainly have unique character. After having restored each one to razor sharp there is satisfaction that doesn't come with buying a complete set from a boutique manufacturer. Someday my kids will have to decide what to do with them, and perhaps they will wonder why I had so many.

Blue Grass was a brand sold in hardware stores back when I was a kid. We never gave them much thought. Maybe they are better than we realized.

Nice collection of chisels Martin.
Old chisels are cool.
I sometimes paw through the flea market specials just to see what is there. I've picked up a few 750's that I like for $2-$3 bucks.
