cherry firewood knife scales

Found an interesting piece of firewood, and so I tried my hand on knife scales to replace some crappily finished walnut scales (high gloss and chipped) that came with it. I think the little split I have here gives it character. I've been carryin the little sucker for a couple months since changing the scales and have no plans of giving it up!
