The Pen Wizard

An interesting gadget from Beale Tools, The Pen Wizard is a stand alone jig for making ornamental pens. A long time ago JR Beale was making one of these that was designed to fit on a small wood lathe, it looks like this one is a second generation jig and he has made some improvements.

I have one on a UPS truck somewhere with my name it -- I'm looking forward to tinkering with it -- may be a cheap one in the classifieds next month if it doesn't work out!

I ordered one as well, Considering that JR Beale is the designer I expect it will be a well made jig that works as advertised. He is a very innovative guy and the products I have purchased from him in the past have been great stuff.

I predict that there will be some pictures of some very cool new pens here at The Creek in the near future :)
