Made em fit the boxes and then sealed em up real well:) One is 5" and the other is almost 6" and the box will be bulging but I know people at the post office and they will let it slide..

Hey Mark,
How much more of that Claro Walnut do you have? I have some nice Red flame Box Elder blanks already anchor sealed, if you want to do some trading. PM me if you are interested.

Jeff

And I do!!

I also can't wait to see what you do with it Jeff, I have no doubt it will be some splendind turnings and I am a lucky man to have a fine piece with you mark on the bottom comming my way.

Glad to have made a few good friends here at the creek!

Ken,
I have a bunch of the Claro and I would certianly be up for a trade, but I would just as soon sell some of it.
look in the classified for pics of the haul (I have posted twice)
Shoot me a pm, we'll talk.

I still have the largest stump to cut up and it has some real big (think basketball) burls on it. I'll be picking up the chainsaw from the shop with a nice sharp chain on it on the way home tonight (I hit the concrete with it:eek:) If I dont cut it up tonight I will do it tomorrow.

I cant wait to see some finished turnings showing up here at the creek, I've been busy sending pieces all over the states. The lady at the post office is starting to wonder about me:D

Yep! The first piece I got from you goes on the lathe Friday. My Airstream PAPR is suppose to be in and I've got Friday off. Then fly out Sunday to Irvine, CA. I'll post pics before I leave though. I don't want to keep you in Suspense:D
Hopefully the other piece will be here before I leave so I can see what she looks like:)
