My latest project is building an oak layout table(34"h x 36"d x 60"w) for my wife's sewing room. So far, I've layed in 1 coat of the Bartley's paste filler & now I need to sand it out. The directions are not at all clear on this.
How would I go about sanding this out? Do I sand by hand with a 220g;or with my 5" ROS? I would think the sander would be too rough. It did say on the can to sand against the grain.
What do you finishing experts say?
