This is my first attempt at a suspended bowl. Bob's videos and the tutorial on his website really helped. I learned alot doing this one. It needs some more sanding and a finish and the thickness of the legs is a little thicker than the top but all in all, I am pretty satisfied with my first attempt. It is about 7.5" X 4" X 3"(H). The base is Maple and the lid is Cherry w/ a Maple knob.

Mark that is a very nice looking piece. I have seen the video but yet to try one. That is well done.

Looks good, Mark! Maple and cherry are a great combination. Sanding the underside of the wings is pure drudgery but the finished product makes it worth while.

Mark - that looks really good to me! Great wood combination! You should be proud of this one! Make sure you sign and date it - maybe even label it #1! Nice work!

Yeah, I'd be pretty happy too if that was my first attempt. Looks like you nailed it, great job
