Thought I would tune-up my Jet Cabinet saw yesterday.
I removed the cover on the motor where the electric wire connects. That little box was so packed with sawdust. How in the world that box was packed with dust ,when it had a cover on ,I will never know. Be sure to check your saw.
Should I remove the capacitor covers and blow them out? I did not because I was not sure what I would find under the covers.
I also had to tighten the belts. My problem is not all 3 belts are the same. One is just right. the others have enough play, if it were a single belt, adjustment would be in order. The saw runs GREAT! Is this a problem I should address or just forget about it?
