I am going to buy a new router plate. I have narrowed it down to 2, the Woodpeck and the Incra MagnaLock. I was wondering if anyone here used the Incra and if so, what they thought about it.

I think these are made side by side, like Chev and GMC trucks if you will. The only difference I've seen is the way the inserts go in. The Incra uses magnets and the Woodpecker uses a twist lock. Other than that, I think you'll find the lifts are identical. Jim.

I have the Incra and have not had any problems with it. I bought the complete set of insert to go with it.

I have a LOT of Incra items, but I took their advice (Mark at tech support) and bought the Incra/Jessum Mast-r-lift system for my router table rather than the cheaper simple magna lock. The Incra version of the Mast-r-lift has the Magna lock system as well, but the lifting mechanism is much cleaner and more precise than the basic router plate system. Well worth the additional $$ in my opinion.
