setting kerf

I need to have some one reset the kerf on a 10" non carbide saw blade. I need it set to .090 for segmenting work. Is this something most saw blade sharpeners can do or will I need to send it out?

I'm lucky enough to have a great saw shop locally that could do it easily, but I'm not sure I would trust most shops with this sort of thing. Depending on the blade, it might be cheaper to buy a blade that already has the correct kerf, rather than modifying the one you have.
