I've been looking for a good miter gauge and this might be it. Anyone know anything about it other than the website write up?

They just introduced it with some other stuff...doubtful you'll find a lot of "experience" out there, yet!

Brian,
Check out http://www.prairieriverwoodworking.com/ . It looks like Mark D. sold the fasttrak design to Kreg. They have both versions. The fasttrak is on clearence. I have the Osborne EB3. I like it alot. I also have the incra v27. I usally grab the OB3. I trust it.

I just checked the web site and the Fasttrak is not listed. I just jot a bandsaw fence from them and it is listed in the enclosed flyer at $80 for the miter gauge and the "add on sysatem" for $45. You may want to call to see if any are left. the only diffrence I see is the Kreg is blue. the # is 1-888-536-1870. It was reviewed in FWW 3/04. Let me go ahead and say I have no affillition with any company mentioned. In fact some of my fellow Arkies might give me a hard time if they found out I was doing buisness with someone in WI. Hope you get a great gauge whatever you choose. A good gage is a pleasure to use while a poor one is very agrivating.

I have the Fasttrack version of the gauge which I really like. It was invented by Mark Duginske and is really an excellent gauge. The original version is available from : www.prarieriverwoodworking.com (http://www.prarieriverwoodworking.com) . It is very accurate and simple. It can be adjusted to eliminate any play in the miter gauge. It is a very fine well designed tool

I just checked the web site and the Fasttrak is not listed.
If PrairieRiver is sold out, Highland Hardware still lists the FasTTrak gage for $99.99 http://www.tools-for-woodworking.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=5213

I'll be getting it in my store soon and will try it out personally...I have high expectations and hope it meets them. I'll try to post a review as soon as I try it out.

I have the Incra 5000 miter sled and like it quite a bit. I also have the Incra TS-3a TS fence...and the Incra Twin Linear fence for my router table.... Hi, I'm Chris, and I am an Incra nut.... :)

I have the fasttrack version, bought on sale as Mark D. sold or licensed Kreg to make in in the future. Like Mark says, very good, and very accurate. I don't think there is any diff., but if so it will not be significant.
It is easy to set the angle, and the bar stays tight to the miter slot. No slop. Saves me dragging out the sled for a quick but accurate cut off. I did not get the attachments.

I bought mine at the Atlanta Woodworking show back in the spring. I set it up and was quite pleased with it's performance and quality. It was off less than 1 degree so I sent an email asking if I had not set it up correctly. I got an immediate response, and determined that I hadn't made a mistake. They sent me another one as the unit I received was one of an early production group. Needless to say, I was worried a bit but after putting the replacement togeter in about 5 min, I checked it for square and 45 cuts...absolutely dead on. I've since used it as my 'go to' tool to get a good true square cornor. The end stop works dead on too with the little magnifying loop making my tired old eyes work even without glasses. They paid for the shipping too so I am extremely happy and can recommend the gauge. The instruction booklet is also a bueaut. It doesn't just cover how to get a 10th of a degree onece but gives several examples so that when you go to make a six or eight sided frame, you just do your thing and it's right. Niffty. Has pictures too. I don't do pocket hole stuff but this gauge makes setting the shoulders on a tennon so easy. The price anint' bad either.
