Best Hinges (Window seat)?

Okay, so I'm not really building a window seat. Instead, it will be a wide hamper lid in the configuration of a window seat (i.e., there will be strips behind the lid and one each side that are coplaner with the closed lid and are attached to the wall via ledger strips).

I'm looking for a good hinge solution that will allow the lid to open to 90º, or slightly greater, and hold.

Suggestions?

Your best hinge would be a piano type of hine. Use some spring lid supports like these to hold the lid open.
