I've installed a few sets of bi-fold doors at a job I am working on and a couple of them spring outward a little. In other words, they do not lay flat in the track. The hinge pivot springs out a tad. I've tried to adjust them but to no avail. Any hints? They are not expensive doors!!

Two possible things to look at.

Make sure the hinges are inlaid properly. if they are siting lower than the edge of the door or at an angle, it be causing the edges to bind and push out.

Make sure the door is standing perfectly perpendicular. If it is leaning outward a little, the weight of the door could be pulling it open.

Did you check to make sure the track was straight? Sometimes Ive taken them out of the box and found they were a little tweaked from shipping.
