Is there a laser strong enough to mark metal without the Thermark?

Joe,
You're looking at YAG lasers (FiberMark) for metal, and I believe they start in the $50k range. The higher-powered CO2 lasers can mark some metals (such as high-iron stainless), but the speed is so slow you won't make any money at it.

The FiberMark fiber lasers start at $32,000.

More reasonable than I first thought... good to know for future reference.
