Anybody know someone with a bandsaw mill or a big trailer in the Fort Worth area? There are two or three (sorry, I only saw them from the road) large oaks that have been bulldozed on North Davis, just across from where L. D. Lockett ends. I guess it's actually in Colleyville.

I have no affiliation with the property owners or the developers, although an old friend of mine has a broker's sign on the property. I just hate to see good wood go to waste. These are huge trees, white oak by the look of them.

All I can say is act fast. Chances are it will be cut into fire wood by this evening. Jim.

They'll probably be burned or mulched for paper.

Bull dozed trees often have internal damage from the rough treatment, so be careful.

Oops! Said trees are on Precinct Line, not on Davis. There are four of them, but I can't see if the ones in the back are oaks or not.

If anyone knows someone who could take these, let me know. I do know the broker who is handling that land (he might be the developer), and I'll bet something can be worked out.
