Any one mess around with color on glass yet? I'm thinking a different process would be better for this application than lasering. Any opinions?

There are a couple ways to add color to glass.

Heat transfer paper. I've done it with paper from Magic Touch (CLT)

Water slide decals.

Ink-jet to mylar and adhere with a UV curing adhesive. (need a UV light source for this)

What are you looking to do?

Just looking at how to decorate glass. I've tried the thermark black for glass and wasn't too happy with the results.

Ive worked with the decals and the transfer products.

The transfer ones are faster and easier to work with.

The material is about $.50 a sheet, I print mine on a Zerox Phaser 6360
with no problems. They will work on a variety of laser printers check Magic Touch site for more info. These transfer to tiles and metals also.
A standard heat press is all you need.

Take into consideration that the toner is transparent so you will see through it. Similar to leaded glass just not as dark or saturated.

Conde sells supplies for the UV set-up you can see them here.

All of these are for indoor use.

Hope this helps!
